Late 18th Century early 19th Century Wooden Butter Churn
 

New England wooden butter churn with original dasher. Hand made rosehead nails along with wooden pegs hold bands tight to body.Lid has an old split that was repaired with a make-do patch along the bottom.

Never painted and constructed of Chestnut and pine with great patina.
 
Dimensions: Measures 16 3/4" tall w/o dasher and 42" with.
